Iblis sings and spreads the plague
Desire blows the thorn


This prick and pain makes man so numb
Tickled hate and death in one
Birthed the name of the fatherless son

Marked in life and marked in death
Picked a rose but now the best is
Living life the life sentence
Desire blows the thorn


They dance around the midnight fire
Lost their souls to make it higher
But they sing on join that choir

I hope no wind takes you over
Remember the angels on your shoulders
Better remain the faithful boulder cause

Pray


Move within my mind I pray
I surrender my will, ego and pay
My time my love
To follow the example
Of man at his best
The tools are ample
But if I choose to
Use or ignore
Do you understand?
This peace I’m fighting for
In a world that can lead you astray
Sleepless nights and sunless days
Tissues won’t take the tears away
Nor will they bring me closer
Without intent
My faith remains a gun-less holster
I remember life then death
Maybe this, my final breath
This salat might be the test
In this world to meet the next
To be pure in heart and mind
Surely heaven you will find
Before death and after life
The trials you face
Brings depth and light
Into a soul blown by our Maker

The Soldier

A Shot I heard
A heart stopped beating
His footsteps were retreating
Moved away, clear from the door

But who’s the victim
A freedom fighter
Terrorist or hate inciter
A dog not man and nothing more

Oh God, did I?
Why am I crying?
While this man here, frozen, lying
Battery died now timeless timing
What is his meaning here on the floor?

Is it true?
Yes he’s my brother
Born from a distant mother
His body still, my shadow covers
To quote that raven nevermore

Dear God Shake the heavens
As the tears fall for my brethren
Clean the earth with love avenge him
Strike this madness made by war

Because I think HOPE AND FAITH are very important elements of humans spirits, with out them………………we’r just shadows

I really wanted to show everyone on the soldier that we are all connected and when we fight others in a way we are only fighting ourselves. One of my favorite verses from Quran is:
041.034
YUSUFALI: Nor can goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate! And no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint,- none but persons of the greatest good fortune.

Paint the color on its canvas

As brilliant

Or make the wind blow

Cool and crisp

Pushing the dandelion

In the air

Like snow with no

Concept of gravity

Or make the tear

Fall from your eye

And mark your face

With a grain of salt

Or paint the leaves each fall

With such detail

To each fallen member

This is the beauty of our Creator
