Islam* Yemen* and America - connecting the dots
For the past 10 years the USA has been attacking Muslim countries. It started in Afghanistan continued with Iraq expanded to Pakistan and now Yemen.
Maybe we should go over this again. Why are they making all these problems and causing death* destruction* and instability in these Muslim countries.
1- Afghanistan: They just wanted Osama and they were willing to destroy the whole country to get Osama and his buddies.
2- Iraq: They head weapons of mass destruction so they had to attack them before they can use them on America. :roll:
We had hopes that with a change in leadership there will be a change in foreign policy towards Islam and Muslims. We listened to the beautifully worded speeches of Obama and were hopeful. The president might have changed* but the style in foreign policy and actions towards Muslims have not changed at all. It actually continues to get worse.
In 2009 the American military expanded its war on Islam to the borders of Pakistan and Yemen.
Are they using these wars to cover the problems they can't solve at home like health care and economic regulation?
Do they just hate Muslims and what to see more of them die?
Islam is constantly being attacked in the media as the source of all these evil actions. You don't see Muslims in Yemen or other countries saying that Christianity is evil because of the war crimes they continue to commit in Iraq.
It seems like a form of collective punishment to throw the whole country like Yemen into chaos* because they are after a small group of a few hundred people.
There is no way America can defeat terrorism if they continue to feed its flames. If they continue to meddle in Yemen those hundreds of terrorists they are after will become thousands.
Before America started bragging about its covert operations in Yemen Al-Qaeda operated in the dark. After their recent attacks* they started showing up in public for recruitment drives.
The reason the Houthis fighting the gained so many followers is because their slogan mentions the death to Israel and its partner being the USA.
People ask for a solution on terrorism. The answer is there is no 100% way you can stop a crazy person from going on an airplane or any public area and blowing themselves up.
All you can do is :
1- increase your security to reduce the chance
2- reduce the wood that is feeding the flames of terrorism.
a- stop supporting the bad thing Israel does to Muslims in Palestine.
b- fix the mistakes that were committed against the people of Afghanistan and Iraq.
c- Prosecute the people that were responsible for war crimes against Muslims in Iraq.
d- stop supporting the regimes you like (Israel* saudi* egypt) and destroying anyone you don't like (Iraq/Sadam* Iran)
...............the list goes on but who is listening
I guess all this is the result of the fall of the Russian empire. America feels no one can keep it in check militarily and it will pursue its interests without any care for the destruction that it causes the rest of humanity (Muslim or not)
I ask myself
What is the future of a Muslim living in America?
Should they just leave and find a peaceful country. Is that going to make things better for the Muslim world if America had no Muslims in it?
